Lapaj demands recount of votes in Fier and Vlora

Adriatik Lapaj has requested a recount of votes in the Fier and Vlora districts.

Through a post on social media, Lapaj writes that he has received the CEAZ footage and claims that there are discrepancies between the actual votes in the boxes and the minutes approved by the CEAZs.

We just received the footage after it was made available to us yesterday (Zaz 59 in Fier has not yet been given to us) and we started watching the footage, it turns out that there are significant discrepancies between the actual votes in the ballot boxes and the minutes approved by the CEAZs.

Given the fact that our mandates in these 2 districts were taken by the Socialist Party by a narrow margin, there is room for a recount.

For every box where it turns out that the vote has been tampered with, we will take every person responsible to the prosecutor's office.

The request for a recount will be submitted to the Central Election Commission today. We may not have those mandates, but even if 1 vote is affected, we will be prosecuted.

Example of how votes were altered in the minutes:

ZAZ number 55, BNC 55/3, box 2831/00– problem, 4 votes were added to the SP and two votes were removed from the SHB Initiative;

ZAZ number 60, BNC 60/3, box 3017 – two invalid votes have been passed as valid to the SP.

ZAZ 60, VNC 60/3, box 2997/00 — problem, two votes were added for the DP, 4 votes were added for the SP.

ZAZ 56, VNV 56/5, box 288/01 — problem, two votes were added for the SP and one vote was removed from the Homeland Movement.

ZAZ 56, VNV 56/3, box 2866/01 – problem, one vote was removed from Nisma SHB and 3 were added to the invalid votes.
