"A seal or a logo does not make you a president"/ Majlinda Bregu "slaps" Basha and Alibeaj: They received the party as a gift

The former Minister of Integration spoke about the situation in the Democratic Party.

In a media appearance, Bregu said that she was prepared for this situation in which the Democratic Party finds itself. She stated that her biggest fear at the time she left was that the party would go through a process of self-destruction, which according to her has happened today.

The former minister said that Lulzim Basha received the party as a gift when he came to the top, but he did not know how to manage it, and later it went to Enkelejd Alibeaja as a gift. Bregu emphasizes that a logo or stamp does not make you a party leader.

"I don't know if I'm surprised, shocked or prepared? I will say that I was prepared, because at least the moment I left DP, unfortunately the reading of what was to come next was very clear and you remember it very well. We were together at that time, when the biggest fear was that the party would go through the process of self-destruction. Something that happened today, so that one day, when the mountain just gets pregnant, it "gives birth to a mouse" or the next day it looks like it has a bigger color, at the end of the day, the result is unfortunately what you all see. To some extent, I believed that she, let's say, or that example you gave her, when Lulzim Basha received a gift party and did not know how to manage it, except that she destroyed it and did not know how to manage it, she would stop with it, but Lulzim Basha's gift party it went to Enkelejd Alibeaja and here we are," said Bregu. A logo doesn't make you president just like a seal doesn't make you one, but this is not the problem of finding the culprit today, this is not the problem that you are not good, the problems are as big in DP, structured year after year as today it's downright tough and it seems unfortunately it has to get worse to get better,”said Majlinda Bregu.
