Integration of Albania in the EU/ Rama: We will not ask for gifts, but we will do our homework

Prime Minister Edi Rama held a tripartite meeting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and the Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Dimitar Kovacevski at the wine fair in Bardolino, Italy.

During his speech, Rama stated that Albania will fulfill its duties to become part of the European Union and will not do it by asking for it as a gift to speed up the process.

According to Rama, our country has some things that it needs to change.

"Let's not talk about defeating the Serbs in the future because it can cause problems in the present. We are working on a strategy for the EU. As we have said before about EU integration, we are inclined to fulfill the criteria, we do not want artificial acceleration. There are some things that need to change. We will not ask for gifts, but we will do our homework," said Rama./CNA
