The democratic deputy, Edi Paloka, said that he held an informal meeting with the deputy Gazmend Bardhi a month ago.

During a media appearance, Paloka said that their conversation was focused on the negotiations within the Democratic Party, where according to him they have agreed on a compromise.

Deputy Paloka emphasized that even if the deputies agreed, it was the head of the "seal" group, Enkelejd Alibeaj, who did not accept their compromise.

"We held an informal meeting with Gazmend Bardhi a month ago and talked about negotiation. We have talked about compromise. We agreed but it was Alibeaj who did not confirm it. Within that group there is no understanding. Enkelejd Alibeaj did not even agree with his deputies. It is no secret that within that group there is no understanding. The group that for me was the most conscientious and defended the interests of the DP regardless of their position, tried to reach a compromise in order not to harm the DP. As long as the democrats wanted Berisha, they could stay within the DP, but the moment when the trial started it was a game of cooperation with Rama and this was where the real split of the DP was," said Mediu./ CNA
