The economic expert, member of the DP National Council, Dorjan Teliti, has criticized the government regarding the decision on the remuneration for pensioners.

According to Teliti, if the prime minister imposed an extraordinary tax of 50% for the businesses of incinerators, health concessions or golden roads given with PPP, much more money would be collected.

Mjaftonte një taksim i jashtëzakonshëm prej 50% të fitimit ndaj vetëm 3 biznese të mëdha të prodhimit dhe eksportimit të energjisë për ti dhënë një "shpërblim-lëmoshë" pensionistëve në prag fushate.

Imagjinoni sikur KM të vendoste këtë taksim të jashtëzakonshëm prej 50% edhe për bizneset e inceneratorëve, koncesioneve në shëndetësi apo rrugëve të florinjta të dhëna me PPP.

This 50% tax on PPPs would be very nice... a lot more money would be collected... ahhh yes, I almost forgot... the concessions belong to friends... while those three big energy enterprises apparently they are not "servants" of the government court.

One thing must be said... if pensioners love them so much... they should not simply index pensions with the general inflation rate, but increase them with at least the price increase rate of the Albanian pensioner's basket of consumption (just for reminder, according to instat, food prices increased by 14% during 2022 and continue to increase even during the first months of the current year).

That would be responsibility, that would be justice, that would be humanity, especially in times of crisis. / CNA.al
