The opposition candidate for Tirana, Belind Këlliçi, shot the mayor Erion Veliaj, after the statements that he planted more than 1 million trees.

According to Këlliç, Veliaj lies unimaginably day after day.

Furthermore, Kelliçi underlines that Veliaj, surrounded by a 7-story tower without permission, deceives the citizens with empty propaganda.

" Claiming that you planted 1 million trees is like 15,000 football fields with trees. They lie in ways that are unimaginable.

This one comes out and says I planted 1 million trees. This one says I made the Orbaital forest, I've been looking for it for so many months and I can't find it. I'm not the only one who sees this.

This is a harm that is done to the citizens with propaganda, with deception.

There are no schools, nurseries, drinking water here, there are only 7-story towers without permission.
