The Vice President of the Democratic Party, Luciano Boçi, stopped today to explain an idea that is circulating regarding the variants of the Territorial Reform.

Invited to "A2 CNN", Boçi stated that logic leads to the map and following this logic, the four variants mentioned would lead to a lack of graphics.

According to Boçi, the map is much more than the graphic side, as it conceptualizes and creates functions and decentralization.

In the end, the democrat emphasized that the reference for this reform should come from the countries of the region, unlike what the majority has been based on.

"Are there 4 variants? 4 variants means that in the end there is a map drawing at all. Now let's not pretend that logic does not lead to maps. There is a presentation of theses, but it is missing from the graphic side. The map is not a graphic side. The map is the way it is conceived, how it is transmitted, how it is attached to the competencies, functions, how it creates decentralization, how it increases the level of services, how it stimulates financial autonomy. A map has been intentionally initiated. I would not even say 4 alternatives, there is only one alternative. Smokestacks have been thrown that vary from the form of the union of municipalities, to the realization of the second level of government, the level of regions, which is a negotiable level. It is a variant, unconsulted, without receiving approval from interest groups, because the hearings have not begun, but also from the public, the citizen itself.
