The former speaker of the Assembly, Jozefina Topalli, has spoken about the process of choosing the structures and candidates for mayor in PD.

According to her, the current political scene is not yet ready for a process like that of the Primaries, since the structures of a party do not always produce the best candidate.

However, in Lezha, where she is a political leader, Topalli said in an interview with journalist Merita Haklaj, that the right candidate has emerged from the primaries to take over the Municipality of Lezha on May 14.

"I think we're not ready yet as I'm afraid the structure doesn't always bring out the best. It went well in Lezha. And I have to be careful when I say any reservations. Even within the structure there are jealousies of its own. It is natural", said Topalli. /CNA.al
