The member of the Presidency of the DP of vula, Jonila Godole, has reacted to the clashes regarding the elections for the new president.

Through a status on social networks, Godole asks colleagues in the DP of the seal to establish dialogue and constructive discussion for a winning party in 2025

She declares that the recent decisions on the elections of the new DP chairman are hasty, one-sided and contradict the statute.

Jonila Godole emphasizes that her colleagues must put aside personal, self-interest or someone else's.

" Looking at the hasty and unilateral decisions of the leadership in recent weeks, which are damaging and fueling the division of the DP, I call on my colleagues in the leadership to put constructive dialogue and discussion for a winning party in 2025 before interest personal (own or someone else's).

The rush to elect the president and the flagrant criteria that a minority has approved and distributed today in the media, contradict the statute, exclude from the race representatives of the Civic Assembly approved by the National Assembly on December 18, 2021, and bunker the DP even more, instead of opening it.

Berishism has no horns, it means closing the race, predetermining the winner, voting not elections, capturing party structures, submission to one. The presidency and the national council have the historic chance to separate tomorrow, not with words, but with deeds, from this mindset that is sitting cross-legged in the DP and does not allow it to be a winning alternative for Albanians", she writes./ CNA.al
