"I was delegated there at the last minute"/ Gjiknuri: The victory in

Socialist Party MP Damian Gjiknuri gave an interview in which he spoke about winning the mandate in the May 11 elections.

Gjiknuri said that it was a special experience with strong competition, where this time the confrontation was direct.

Gjiknuri called this victory a reconfirmation of his political model.

The MP revealed that his candidacy in Vlora was decided at the last minute.

" It was a special experience. For the first time I faced the direct vote, despite having led many campaigns, and this is my 11th campaign in my entire political career. Unlike any other time, I faced it directly. The race was tough. I was running in a district that I had been separated from for 4 years, like Vlora, and I was delegated there at the last minute. So I was determined as a candidate at the last minute and this whole context made the race more interesting, more difficult, more competitive. The satisfaction in the end is that I receive gratitude from the citizens. It was a reconfirmation of my political model as a former leader of the political district, where the citizens appreciated my political history and it was a very organic vote, especially without any kind of power, " said Gjiknuri./ CNA
