Ibrahimaj responds to Tabak with a photo/ Shows the changes in Thumana

The Minister of Finance Delina Ibrahimaj has responded to the deputy Jorida Tabaku regarding the funds for the reconstruction.

Through a photo, Ibrahimaj showed the changes that have been made in Thuman after the earthquake.

She said that the reconstruction continues at a fast pace and asserted that all the reconstruction funds are tendered and are already subject to KLSH. 

Among other things, he emphasized that there is transparency in terms of funds, responding to Tabak's accusations.

‘Se di ku e gjeni forcën që thoni se tërmeti po përdoret për qëllime elektorale. Qeveria e ka për detyrë që tu gjendet pranë çdo shqiptari. Fill pas tërmetit ne u përballëm me pandeminë dhe këto janë ngjarje që nuk mund të merren sit ë veçanta apo të shkëputura. Kemi një proces rindërtimi që po vazhdon me ritme të shpejta ndonëse ka pasur dy kriza të njëpasnjëshme. Kjo na jep një mundësi që të tregojmë sesi ne arritëm që të transformojmë lagjet të tëra dhe tu japim një shpresë shqiptarëve.

Tërmeti kishte shkaktuar një dëm total prej 1 mld euro. Pati shumë njësi banimi të cilat u dëmtuam. Në kushtet e emergjencës qeveria shqiptare u angazhua përmes mekanizmit të fondit rezervë dhe akorduan për të dëmtuarit nga tërmeti. Si asnjë vend tjetër të botës në një kohë rekord të dëmtuarve nga tërmeti u akomoduan në hotele dhe jo në çadra.  Nuk ka detyrime të prapambetura nga fondi i rindërtimit.

All reconstruction funds are tendered like any other project. All are subjects of KLSH. I invite you to come up with figures and concrete projects when you discard these assumptions. Not with assumptions heard in the premises of the cafe. I have facts that I tell you are not like that. The reconstruction program has an important social dimension. Foreign funded schools are just beginning to be rebuilt. We committed the state budget due to the emergency, and the loans will be used in the future.

We have provided information whenever requested. We had maximum transparency for the use of funds. It is important not to throw mud on a process for which the Albanian government has received congratulations and merits' - said Ibrahimaj./ CNA.al
