The chairman of LZHK, Dashamir Shehi, is optimistic about the result of the May 14 local elections for the opposition.

Shehi said in an interview with journalist Arlind Isa that the opposition is reaping success, as it rose from the situation it was in within two years and is now running in elections to change power.

He stated that it is difficult for the opposition to have a very good result, but it is not hopeless.

"Even if it is 50%, I will call it a success for the opposition, because it would build a base so that after two years we will have the opportunity to change the government. I consider this possible. The result is difficult, but it is not hopeless. This would be a positive result. It is not easy, since the opposition comes after the fights, but I believe that there are still 40 days to run a successful campaign and we can have a positive result", said the head of LZHK./ CNA.al
