Yesterday, MEP Fredi Beleri was hit with an egg and a bottle of sour cream by a citizen before entering the Presidency of the Assembly.

In a press release, Beleri said that this attack was scripted and staged.

He declared that he is not afraid of beatings with eggs and yogurt, after spending 16 months in a cell.

"I did not expect these reactions. They were not random, they had a script and direction. The director does harm to Albania. I have not suffered anything. I have spent 16 months in a cell and I am not afraid of an egg and yogurt. And the one who was inspired did not do well", emphasized the MEP./ CNA
