Tomorrow, the 31st protest in front of the Municipality of Tirana/ Citizens insistently demand the removal of Veliaj

Tomorrow, the 31st protest is expected to take place in front of the Municipality of Tirana, where the citizens will again demand the resignation of the mayor Erion Veliaj.

The protest is organized by the Alliance for the Protection of the Theatre, where representatives from the Democratic Party will be present as well as well-known art figures. 

The protests in front of this municipality are taking place because of the scandals that happened in this institution, such as the incinerator affair and the "5D" file, where a number of directors were arrested after SPAK investigations. The citizens insistently demand that Veliaj be brought to justice.

Even Veliaj himself was questioned by SPAK about the affair of the incinerators, while the investigations of its directors have been deepened. 

There were no tensions in the recent protests, although there were tensions in the previous protests.
