The "stamp" group abandoned by the electorate/ Tabaku seeks unique

The "stamp" DP group held the meeting where they would decide the names of the candidates for the May 14 local elections even though the Democratic Party of Lulzim Basha and Enkelejd Alibeaj was abandoned by the electorate.

Meanwhile, during the meeting, deputy Jorida Tabaku suggests that they go to the May 14 elections with unique candidates.

Tabaku said that PD should come out as an alternative in the elections for the battle against Rama.

"I have the same attitude I had in September. The opposition must come up with unique candidates. We must in no way do battle against ourselves. We have an opponent, we have the government, and there is no reason or excuse for us to be the ones that divide the opposition vote. We must protect the DP logo, put out the DP as an alternative in these elections. I can't bring myself to ask for a vote against my colleagues. I have no doubt that to win we must be together and more than that", said Tabaku./CNA
