Begaj welcomes the Secretary General of the OSCE / Issues that were discussed in 

The President of the Republic, Sh.TZ Bajram Begaj, received today the Secretary General of the OSCE, Mrs. Helga Maria Schmid. President Begaj appreciated the role of the Organization in these key moments that the European continent and the world order are going through, as well as underlined the will of Albania as a member country of the organization, to contribute towards maintaining peace and world order.

Duke u ndalur te procesi i zgjedhjeve të ardhshme lokale, Presidenti Begaj vlerësoi ekspertizën e OSBE/ODIHR dhe theksoi se si President i Republikës do të bëjë gjithçka që i lejon Kushtetuta dhe ligji, që jo të kemi thjesht zgjedhje më të mira se paraardhëset, por ato të përmbushin standardet ndërkombëtare të zgjedhjeve të lira e të ndershme.

Presidenti Begaj vlerësoi gjithashtu rolin dhe kontributin e OSBE-së në Kosovë dhe rajon. Në këtë linjë, Kreu i Shtetit përshëndeti dakordësimin publik që u arrit në Ohër mes Kosovës dhe Serbisë, duke rikonfirmuar qëndrimin e Shqipërisë se dialogu dhe marrëveshja janë rruga e vetme për një rajon në paqe dhe stabilitet.

Both interlocutors appreciated the contribution that the OSCE mission in Ukraine is playing in these moments of unprecedented, unjustified and unprovoked aggression by a member of the United Nations and the organization, as well as the real contribution to peace.

"Any crime committed in Ukraine, against the civilian population, against children and against the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine must not go unpunished," President Begaj underlined./CNA
