The EU ambassador for Albania Silvio Gonzato, in a press conference with Rama, handed over the progress report for Albania to the prime minister.

Gonzato said that this is a keystone in the process of Albania's EU membership.

"It is a pleasure for me to be here today. It is a pleasure to submit the progress report for Albania.

We opened the first group of negotiations for Albania's EU membership.  

I will never tire of emphasizing that this is a keystone in the founding process.

In the enlargement package, we can see the intention of Albania to continue the path towards EU membership", said Gonzato./ CNA
