Today in the Assembly, the normative act on national symbols was discussed. This act comes within the framework of the adaptation of the legislation to that of the European Union, after the opening of the negotiations.

During her speech, Foreign Minister Olta Xhaçka invited the deputies to vote for him. According to this normative act, next to the national flag in institutions, the EU flag should also be placed.

The minister emphasized that it was approved urgently to be prepared for the meetings that will be in the framework of the opening of negotiations.

" Next to our national flag, the EU flag should also be placed in institutions. There are changes that adapt aspects in accordance with this historical development. This normative act was adopted urgently to be prepared for the meetings.

This act underlines the importance of opening negotiations. It is a modest intervention, but of great importance, as it reflects the opening of a chapter.

Holding the first conference and opening the negotiations was not only the recognition of the work that Albania has done, but also the opening of a new chapter for the establishment of the structure of membership negotiations ", said Xhaçka./ CNA.al
