Ish-ministri i Jashtëm, Paskal Milo tregoi në “Now” me Erla Mëhillin se Shqipëria me Iranin ka një histori marrëdhëniesh që në fillim të viteve 90’ kanë qenë entuziaste për shkak të nevojave të vendit.

Varfëria e Shqipërisë dhe besimi kryesisht mysliman ndihmoi Iranin të gjente një terren të përshtatshëm për të hyrë, qoftë përmes fesë, fondacioneve, institucioneve apo shoqatave, siç tha Milo.

Ish-ministri pohoi se gabimet e Shqipërisë kanë qenë në politikat e gabuara jo europiane me anëtarësimin në konferencën islamike që u shfrytëzua.

"We are talking about an extreme political regime that misuses religious faith for other purposes, to become a great power. It will enter the club of atomic powers," he declared.

Prime Minister Edi Rama has requested that the diplomatic staff of the embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran leave Albania within 24 hours.

During a speech published on social networks, Rama declared that this decision of the Council of Ministers comes after it was discovered that the Islamic Republic of Iran is behind the July 15 cyber attack.
