Erion Veliaj was sworn in a few minutes ago as the mayor of Tirana Municipality for the next 4 years, officially taking the third mandate.

Veliaj thanked all the citizens for the trust given to move Tirana forward.

"Today, Tirana is not only the home of Albanians. From now on, we must speak from a Tirana that, unlike when we were growing up, today you cannot enter or leave Tirana without seeing groups of tourists. I want Tirana to belong to everyone. We have tangible objectives. We will continue the work, we will open the largest physical construction site in Tirana," he said.

The oath was taken on the terrace of the Municipality of Tirana. Meanwhile, the new Municipal Council of Tirana was constituted before./ CNA.al
