The head of the parliamentary group of the Democratic Party of Vula, Gazment Bardhi, has called the meeting of the National Council today illegal and unconstitutional.

Invited to the show "The Unexposed", Bardhi has expressed that, being in such a situation, it is unnecessary to participate in this meeting.

Among other things, Bardhi says that all the methods in which Basha is operating behind the scenes are the same as those used by Berisha when he decided to return.

 " Monday's meeting of the parliamentary group is a routine meeting where, in addition to the parliamentary agenda for this week, during the last meetings we also discussed the state of the party.

We started a discussion after the May 14 elections about how each of us saw the possibility of reviving the party.

Today we discussed the meeting of the presidency to call the National Council, which has been a request of mine for a week and of my fellow MPs because it is a procedure provided for by the party's statute. They received a rejection from a part that constitutes the majority in the leadership of the party that the Council will not convene, it is not necessary, while on Thursday they decided to convene it.

The announcement in the media that the National Council would meet, I welcomed it as a decision and as a sign of reflection to return to the statutory path. The next day I read on social networks a decision that was against the party's charter.

I calmly waited for the presidency's decision to come to me, but I received an SMS that said: Dear member of the National Council, the National Council is meeting, in this place, at this hour. And I remembered to be honest, the same method was followed by Mr. Berisha, that even then I was notified by an SMS that came from the computer, to go to the stadium for the Assembly.

This is because the decision that came to me later had stripped the general secretary of his powers. Here too I remembered December 11. Even Berisha then did not trust and did not control Gazment Bardhi. Even now the situation is the same.

Based on this situation, what happened and whatever happens in the meeting the next day, considering it illegal and completely anti-statutory, which deepens the deadlock, we have assessed that our presence is completely unnecessary", said Bardhi./ CNA
