Journalist Klodiana Lala said today that to her knowledge, the arrested former mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, has a lot of information due to his years in politics.

In a television studio, Lala said that Veliaj's information could destroy the government.

According to the journalist, Veliaj is now in different conditions and for this reason he will never speak.

"Erion Veliaj will never speak. Because Veliaj was the second most powerful man in Albania. He can destroy the government, because he has a lot of information due to his long power and because he led the largest Municipality in the country. But Veliaj is not in a condition to speak. He should have spoken in front of the SPAK prosecutors. Whom he considered colleagues when he was abroad, when he could have made an agreement to perhaps receive the status of a repentant.
