The Deputy Mayor of Tirana City Council and Advisor for Economic Affairs in the Democratic Party, Dorjan Teliti, said today that the Tirana City Hall race requires a candidate with political fiber.
In a statement to CNA, Teliti said that the opposition has several names, referring to active figures in politics who could be worthy representatives for the capital's municipality.
Telit did not hesitate to mention his name.
The Democrat added that the best name will emerge naturally from negotiations with the opposition.
"Personally, I think we need a candidate who has a political fiber. There are several names. Anyone who is active in politics, who has been or is a deputy, former and current municipal councilor (including me), former prefect, or senior manager in the municipality, should be ready to represent the opposition in this electoral race. The best name will naturally emerge from negotiations with other political factors of the opposition. I hope it emerges as soon as possible", said Teliti. /CNA
