Journalist Eksiola Shehu, who is pregnant, was pushed this Thursday morning by SP MP Pandeli Majko.

He did this when he was asked by journalists if he felt threatened by the changes made by Prime Minister Edi Rama for the open and closed lists in the 2025 elections. 

It was the deputies of the DP, Jorida Tabaku and Ina Zhupa, who denounced this fact in the Assembly.

Zhupa asked Speaker of Parliament Elisa Spiropali to bring the draft resolution that protects journalists to the Parliament and vote it immediately.

"Journalist Eksiola Shehu, who is also pregnant, was pushed by the SP deputy, Mr. Pandeli Majko, and this is unacceptable behavior, for which Kyvend has refused to agree to make a resolution for women journalists.

Given that the cases in which female journalists are violated because they are more fragile and in the eyes of a masculinist majority, which has been indoctrinated by the symbol of violence Edi Rama, have increased, I ask once again to bring to attention the resolution for the protection of journalists.
