Two days after taking over the municipality/ Benet Beci, ultimatum to Shkodrans:
Benet Beci, mayor of Shkodra

Two days ago, Benet Beci was sworn in as mayor of Shkodra and it seems that he started work without wasting time.

This evening, Beci has given an ultimatum to Shkodra citizens and businesses.

Through an announcement, the Municipality of Shkodra, which is now run by socialists, asks citizens to voluntarily vacate public spaces.

To do this, the municipality declares that individuals and businesses have until Monday of next week, June 26.

Notice:

Dear fellow citizens,

Shkodër Municipality informs all individuals and private entities to take measures to vacate unjustly occupied public spaces. According to the law, the time available for voluntary execution is until 26.06.2023.

We refer here respectively to sidewalks, public squares, green areas and public parking lots. They must be freed from any means that hinder the use of common spaces, such as chairs, tires, concrete blocks, flower pots or other items. We also refer to the release of the streets and sidewalks from the pods and chairs placed there by entities that have not signed a contract with the Municipality for the use of these spaces.

At the end of this five-day period, the Municipality will intervene for their release with the relevant structures and the force given by the law, pursuant to law no. 139/2015 "On Local Self-Government", Law no. 89/2022 "For the Municipal Police".

All citizens or subjects who want to benefit from the use of spaces according to the law, we invite them to use this space of time to appear at the Office with a stop to follow the relevant procedures.

It is everyone's obligation to follow the rules of coexistence in public environments, and Shkodër Municipality expresses its belief in the understanding and cooperation of each of you. Thank you!/ CNA.al
