"Give up now"/ Opposition protest in front of the City Hall tomorrow

The next day, Friday at 11:00 a.m., the third protest is expected to take place in front of Tirana City Hall, where citizens will demand Veliaj's resignation, after the "5D" file scandal, where his closest collaborators are behind bars for tender abuses and the theft of millions of euros. 

Meanwhile, investigations by SPAK continue and it is expected that there will be other persons under investigation. The head of the Municipality of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, has also been summoned to the Special Prosecutor's Office for this scandal. 

In the last protest held in front of the Tirana City Hall, the citizens showed their revolt against the mayor, where there were clashes with the police, after they tried to enter the building.

In tomorrow's protest, the citizens of Tirana will demand the immediate resignation of Mayor Veliaj. 

Recently, Erion Veliaj appeared in a center with people in need, and was excused for the theft of millions of euros in the Municipality of Tirana. Veliaj called corruption a mistake, and compared it to a potato that falls off the plate unintentionally./ CNA
