Tedi Blushi tries to justify Meta/ The journalist "shuts his mouth"
Journalist Glidona Daci

The journalist Glidona Daci clashed with the general secretary of the PL, Tedi Blushin, regarding the investigations that SPAK is conducting against Ilir Meta.

Daci listed Meta's files in SPAK, which according to her are CEZ-DIA, lobbying in the USA, declaration of assets and Monika Kryemadhi's operations abroad.

"The CEZ-DIA issue, the issue of lobbying with the USA and also the report made by the lawyer Idajet Beqiri on the issue of operations abroad, the issue of declaring wealth", she said on the show "Opinion".

Blushi intervened for the time when the report was made, since at that time Meta held the position of President of the opposition.

"In Article 135 of the Constitution, it is emphasized in point 2: Special Courts judge criminal offenses of corruption and organized crime, as well as criminal charges against the President of the Republic, the Speaker of the Assembly, the Prime Minister, members of the Council of Ministers and all officials of other public.

The position of the President does not prevent SPAK from investigating Ilir Meta, but the name of Ilir Meta was not registered, it investigated the report on the ÇEZ-DIA affair", said the journalist.

Blushi intervened again to justify Meta while Daci was talking about reporting the lobbying case in the USA, but the latter cut him short, leaving him without an argument.

Excerpts from the debate:

Daci: Lobbying is a report which also includes the name of Mr. Meta, but it is registered as a criminal proceeding. The persons who signed the lobbying contracts are being verified.

Blushi: The real reason is that December 2019 was the peak of the battle for the Constitutional Court, this is the real reason...

Daci: These are your parts Mr. Blushi, I am here to explain the part of SPAK to you./ CNA
