During the meeting of the DP parliamentary group, there were discussions and debates with the deputies.

MP Bujar Leskaj has stated that the competition for the vacant positions should be between women, as it has turned into a men's party.

MP Dhurata Çupi had the same criticism.

Bujar Leskaj: We must speak in the media and make it clear that we want to restore the pre-election coalitions. We also want to express that we want open lists, the vote of immigrants without the conditions set by the government, to capture a wide base of immigrants, not only 18 who are registered on the government portal and electronic voting. And electronic voting is not as simple as it seems, we must not fall into traps and ensure that we do not fall prey to manipulations.

In the meantime, I propose to hold elections for the vacant positions in the Parliamentary Group. I made this proposal a few weeks ago, but I repeat it again. And I suggest that the race for these posts be made only among women, because we have become a party of men. So I am expressing my opinion that I will participate in the voting for these positions, only if the candidates are women.

Gazment Bardhi: I have not had time to deal with this, as I have had many issues to deal with. But very soon I will deal with it and it will be resolved, I will come with a proposal. The amnesty and support that Arbi Agalliu and Orjola Pampuri gave to Olta Xhaçka, makes them automatically dismissed from the positions they hold in the group. It is unacceptable that they want to bury that issue just like Edi Rama. I had respect, but this is a red line, they joined forces with Edi Rama to give impunity to Olta Xhaçka. Unacceptable.

Dhurata Çupi: I have a concern that Bujari also raised. You have turned this party into a men's party. Go around the districts, talk to the Democrats and there you will find man 1, man 2, man 3, man 4, etc. No woman. Okay, the 4 vice presidents, because they should, but the rest, why only men and no women?

Gazment Bardhi: The party has set up those two working groups, I can undoubtedly add others. Right concern will be appreciated by the leading structures of the party./ CNA
