Democratic MP, Asallan Dogjani went to the Assembly today in a different way than other times.

As an irony to Olta Xhaçka's statement, "We love the beach so that someone from the mountain doesn't come and put our tent there", Dogjani went to the Assembly today with a beach umbrella. 

Dogjani asked to bring the tent inside the Assembly, but was not allowed. Meanwhile, he told the media that such expressions are discriminatory against Albanian citizens. 

"This language of hatred, dividing the Albanians of the mountains and the plains, is punishable by the penal code and the Constitution. We are equally Albanian and this language used by the deputy to justify the theft of property in our country is reprehensible. I took this umbrella symbolically to sensitize public opinion that such language should not be used, I ask the Public Commissioner and Nikolla to take measures against all this discrimination. I will go to the beach with this, but they didn't let me wear it in the Assembly. There are also mountains in Tepelena and Vlora, but this expression has been used for citizens from the north. There are mountains all over Albania", said Dogjani./ CNA
