Berisha called for the protection of democracy: It is not given, but earned

Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, in his speech from "The Road of Hope", said that democracy is not given, but earned.

Berisha, addressing the democratic people and all citizens, made a call to continue the decisive battle to save democracy.

"Democracy is robbed and disappears when it is not protected. No one gave democracy to the Albanians in the 90s.

Democracy is won through struggle and courage, sacrifice, hope and perseverance. Democracy must be protected. Doomed is any nation that forgets this lesson.

We are in the decisive fight to save democracy. Our battle is not a lost battle.

After many attacks we have won every battle we have fought so far. Edi Rama tried to steal the PD from us. Today, PD is united, it is ready for its return to power." / CNA
