The chairman of the Agrarian Environmentalist Party, Agron Duka, spoke about the latest political developments.

During an interview, Duka said that he does not see a great desire from the majority to change the Electoral Code.

"The situation in the Parliament is more or less back to normal, MPs are talking and laws are being discussed.

A negotiating table has been set up, but I don't see much desire from the majority to change the Electoral Code. The opposition must emphasize its change because the majority is favored from the start of the process.

In the current situation, the best thing is to unite as much as possible towards the unification of this opposition federation. We have said that we are also open to the merger of other parties. But this is not enough. We need a synergy, so we also hold meetings at the base", he said.

Asked if he will run for prime minister, Duka said that he does not see himself with many votes in Albania.

"Within Reestablishment, I can think of Jorida Tabaku, Luciano Boci, Gazment Bardhi... these are untried people. On my part it has been in vain, because it cannot be. The Prime Minister must have votes. I don't see myself with many votes in Albania", said Agron Duka./ CNA
