"Students' diplomas are not taken into consideration"/ Sula:

The head of the Education Department in the Democratic Party, Lili Sula, in a statement to the media, said that Rilindja has abandoned students and teachers and is not responding to their problems.

Sula was surprised that after May 11, the DP will put an end to the students' problems.

Sula further said that students are not employed and their diplomas are not taken into consideration.

 

" Dear students, parents and citizens!

The degradation and destruction of universities is the gravest betrayal that the Renaissance has committed against the country and the youth's dream of education, profession, and professional career!

Rilindja and the ministry have abandoned the students and teachers. They do not listen, do not address, and do not react to their problems, demands, and complaints!

The case of students of the 2-year professional program 'Maritime/Land Transport Management', offered at the 'Aleksandër Moisiu' University, Durrës, best represents the insensitivity and irresponsibility of the Ministry of Education!

These students, who have completed their studies and those who are continuing their studies, not only are not employed, but their diploma is not even taken into consideration in the competition procedures for a job!

So, two years of study; two years of financial expenditure are thrown in the trash.

These students have been denouncing and demanding a solution to this problem from the Ministry of Education since 2024. Their request has fallen on deaf ears.

The question arises: Why does the ministry license these programs, while not recognizing their diplomas and not enabling them to be employed in the labor market?

What makes this case even sadder and more flagrant is that the study program is accredited. What accreditation agency and what evaluation model would accredit a study program that does not report a single employed student?!
