The head of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, says that he bows with respect and gratitude for the martyr Afrim Bonjaku, who fell in the line of duty in the defense of the homeland. 

 

"We bow with the deepest respect and gratitude for the fallen Martyr in the line of duty for the defense of the freedom and sovereignty of the Republic of Kosovo, Afrim Bunjaku! Our prayers today are for him  ! GLORY!", writes Meta in a post on Facebook. 

 

Today at 16:00, the funeral ceremony will be performed for the Kosovo Police officer, Afrim Bunjaku, who was killed yesterday in the municipality of Lepasovic by an armed group. It is known that the officer will be buried in the Samadrexhe village cemetery, local media reports. September 25 has been declared a day of national mourning in Kosovo. Meanwhile, today at 19:00, tributes will be performed in his honor at "Mother Teresa" square in Tirana.
