Democratic MP Dashnor Sula was part of the nightly gathering on the 'Street of Hope', from where he delivered his speech.

Sula said that Salianji's imprisonment is pure primitive political revenge of Rama and Fatmir Xhafaj, because Salianji was a courageous deputy, he was a politician who has openly denounced since 2016.

" It is our duty, starting with us, the deputies of the parliamentary group of the Democratic Party, all the democrats and all the Albanian citizens, that on Monday, at 6:00 p.m., we all come out to the square of Tirana for made it possible to overthrow this tyranny, which is trying to be installed here in Albania.

Of course, the last straw that was spilled was the conviction, arrest and political imprisonment of the deputy chairman of the parliamentary group, Ervin Salianji.

 

Because Ervin Salianji is the first who, throughout these years, absolutely in contrast to the majority, who are accused, arrested, or convicted of corruption, is punished for a criminal offense that does not exist, for a false report based on of Article 320 of the Criminal Code, but a false public report, as they say.

This is a pure primitive political revenge of Rama and Fatmir Xhafaj, because Salianji was the deputy with courage, he was a politician who has openly denounced drug plots in the entire southern area since 2016, where the Interior Minister of that time, Saimir Tahiri, and again accused the brother of minister Fatmir Xhafaj, Geron Xhafaj, who engaged in illegal activity and was sentenced in Italy to 7 years and 4 months in prison. Hence they filed charges against Salianj.
