The head of the DP, Sali Berisha, has called on all Albanians and democrats to join the protest on Monday at 18:00 in Tirana.

"I repeat my appeal and that of the Democratic Party to every democrat, to every true oppositionist, to every Albanian citizen who believes in a free vote, who believes that his will must be respected, who believes in the Constitution and the rule of law, who believes that Edi Rama, in his entire being, is a ferocious enemy of free voting, is a ferocious enemy of the rule of law and democracy, that he has installed in Albania the electoral autocracy in which in the vote buying industry, with the state his electoral, with his machinery controls the will of the Albanians. My call is on Monday at 18:00 all march in Tirana for our most basic rights, for a technical government and fair elections against violence against the opposition and political arrests, against the unprecedented thefts in the history of this country by Edi Rama and his criminal clan, against the narco-state that has turned Albania into a mafia protectorate.
