Budget of 2024/ Peleshi appeal to the opposition: Vote for the changes

The head of the SP group, Niko Peleshi, has invited the opposition to vote on the changes and additions to the 2024 budget.

During his speech in the Assembly, Pelesi said that these legal changes will bring investments that will affect the growth of the economy and the reduction of the debt, accusing the opposition that in the middle of 2013 they increased the debt leaving the budget for economic aid empty.  

"9 million euros of funds for rural development have been added. It is good news and for this reason we will vote in favor of the normative act and request that the opposition MPs also vote for it.

2.5 million euros for primary care, 2 million euros for secondary care. Projects affecting sports infrastructure. 2.4 million euros for vocational secondary education. We still have a long way to go.

In the first half of 2013, not only did you increase the debt, but you used the 43 million euros allocated for elections. We found that part of the budget to give economic aid empty.

Making investments while increasing income is good, reducing debt is even better for the future of children. We invite the responsible deputies to increase investments", said Peleshi./ CNA
