Prime Minister Edi Rama from Brussels has declared that Albania is at its best moment.

During his speech at the media conference, Rama said that it is very essential not to underestimate the merit-based principle, as according to him this would help Albania to do its homework for our nation.

Rama emphasized that Albania will become the Europe of the Western Balkans and the future should be in the EU.

"We have shared this not only with the Hungarian presidency but also with the commission that has supported and worked with. It is essential for us not to underestimate the merit-based principle and this will help us to do our homework for our hatr.

It is important for us to be in the middle of Europe and we want to make democracy and free market economy.

This chapter of knowledge and a state functioning as an EU member state is a gift for us to see our future in the EU. We hope to make Albania the Europe of the Western Balkans.

We are committed to looking with the eyes of the future and not with those of the past, which have left us far behind.

We are at the best moment in our history. We will do our best. We began to doubt this moment that we are touching now. The EU has a heart and we have proven it, it's not big but it's there."
