Prime Minister Edi Rama from Brussels has declared that a Europe with the Western Balkans will be stronger, united and secure.
Rama underlined that Albania has done all the homework assigned by the EU, so he hopes that Albania will be part of Europe in this decade.
"We are aware that Europe is not only united by geography but by democracy, the rule of law and human rights. A Europe with the Western Balkans will be stronger and more united and will be more secure.
So our ambition is not a secret, we want to make sure. We have done our homework and that our negotiations will be closed in 2027 and hopefully our membership will take place in 2030", said Rama. / CNA
