The head of the DP Parliamentary Group, Gazment Bardhi, spoke after the meeting with the opposition parties about the creation of the United Opposition Federation. 

In a statement to the media, he said that the division of the opposition was the best gift for Rama and that they came together to defeat the 'regime'.

"We all agree that this is a good day for the opposition. After the unification of the PD diversities, today we also have the unification of all the forces that have declared themselves in the opposition, formalizing the federation of the united opposition. In two years, the divided opposition has been the best gift for Rama's government. Whoever is responsible in relation to what the citizens expect, received a good message today that we have all come together to oppose Rama's regime until its fall and to became a serious alternative", said Bardhi.

He was also harassed by journalists for the visit of the US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who did not meet any opposition representatives yesterday. Bardhi said that this was not foreseen in his agenda, because of the messages he conveyed.

"As I believe, it is not a matter of time, but of the messages given by the American Secretary of State, depending on the topics of discussion, the agenda is also built. It is important to preserve the strategic alliance with the USA and strategic partners intact", said Bardhi. ./ CNA
