Berisha: Expresses PD's full support for teachers

The head of the DP, Sali Berisha, after the meeting with the parliamentary group, said that he supports the teachers' protest and their demands.

"I want to express DP's full support for the teachers who are protesting. Today they organized a powerful protest in front of the Polytechnic University for their most legitimate demands.

I guarantee that DP stands in support of every request that they make today to an arrogant, fraudulent and thieving government. The demands of lecturers, employees and students are real cries to save university education in Albania, which is in great turmoil," said Berisha.

He then focused on discussions with the parliamentary group on territorial reform.

"Today, we gather for a reassessment of the project prepared by the working group, headed by Mr. Bylykbashi, for the territorial reform, in which the best specialists, the Secretariat of Local Government, MPs and the best specialists in the field have contributed ", said Berisha. /CNA.al
