The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has accusations against Prime Minister Edi Rama, during a meeting at the blue headquarters with students.

Berisha said that Rama doubled or tripled student fees. According to him, the cost of studies in Albania is the same as in Great Britain or the Netherlands.

"For you, the fees were 2-3-folded and today you have fees several times higher than an Austrian in Austria whose family can receive at least 7-10 times more than your family. You pay fees today at least 10 times more than a German pays in German universities, or what an Albanian who goes to German universities pays. The fees this government imposed on thousands of families make it impossible to support their second child through university.

So, to limit and burden those who follow, serious obstacles have been put in place. There are two countries with expensive universities in Europe, Great Britain and the Netherlands, but both of them, in proportion to the family income, are not more expensive than the universities of Albania", emphasized the leader of the Democrats. / BA - CNA.al
