Balla at the end of the Socialist Party's campaign: The Diaspora has paved

At the close of the Socialist Party's electoral campaign in Tirana, the political leader for the diaspora, Taulant Balla, gave a passionate speech to supporters, in which he especially thanked Albanian emigrants for their decisive role in this electoral process.

"Sisters and brothers, thank you very much for this spectacular support here in Tirana, but I want a round of applause for the diaspora. A full 200,000 or more sisters and brothers in the diaspora have already paved the way for the victory of the Socialist Party," Balla said.

He stressed that this will be a stronger victory than the previous three mandates of the SP, calling on citizens who are still abroad not to miss the last hours of voting, especially in Greece.

"Tomorrow in Greece in the morning, hurry up, bring those few votes that are left to increase our victory like never before," he continued.

Balla underlined that thanks to Edi Rama's leadership, Albania has gained respect and dignity, bringing the Albanian flag closer to the European Union. "Now we have the opportunity to raise our flag in the courtyard of the European Union," he concluded to applause.
