The head of the Parliamentary Group of the SP, Taulant Balla, made a call to the deputies of the Democratic Party during his speech in the parliamentary session.

Balla asked the deputies not to create debates, but to cooperate on the issues related to the process of Albania's membership in the EU and for the transposition and approximation of laws.

He emphasized that at this stage it is important that everyone becomes a party, so that the EU membership is not delayed too much.

“Marrëveshja për anëtarësim mund të kërkojë 34 muaj si Letonia, por edhe 654 muaj si Bullgaria dhe Rumania. Mund të kërkojë edhe 100 muaj, por nga ky moment nuk ka asnjë dyshim që Shqipëria do të jetë anëtare e BE. Kjo koha varet nga ne dhe sesi do të dimë ne ta shfrytëzojmë.
