Arrest of Veliaj/Gjiknuri: There is no chance of harming the progress of Justice Reform

SP MP Damian Gjiknuri has spoken about a series of recent political developments in the country.

During a statement for Klan News, asked if there will be interference in justice after May 11th as many names from both the SP and the DP are being arrested, mentioning the arrest of Veliaj, Gjiknuri stated that there is no chance that the progress of the Justice Reform will be affected.

"People know how to assess what is happening. The result of the justice reform brought independent justice. We fought for this system. The Socialist Party is proud that this day has come. Corruption cannot disappear with a stroke of the pen. It will have its targets, people who will be held accountable for violating the law. We have an independent system.

"There is no chance of the progress of the justice reform being undermined. It is a consensus reform. The foundation of independent institutions will not be undermined at any moment," said Gjiknuri./ CNA
