CNA has been facing consecutive attacks from Aldor Nini and his company "Acromax" for three months.

For these attacks that have led to the closure of the pages of the CNA on social networks such as "TikTok", "YouTube" and "Facebook", as well as the attack on "Instagram", there has been a reaction from the DP.

The Democratic Party, through a press statement, has denounced the attacks of Aldor Nini and Acromax on CNA.

The Coordinator for Departments in DP, Silvi Bardhi, has said that the attacks are a determined censorship of CNA.

The Democratic Party condemns every unworthy and unjust act against the media and freedom of speech in the country.

As we have condemned all cases where journalists have been threatened, pushed or verbally abused, we also condemn the use of friends of the government, in Albania or abroad, to close social media platforms that oppose government propaganda, such as the case of CNA .

The involvement of this portal in the investigation of the affairs of the municipality of Tirana, has been enough for the phones to ring and the orders to be given.

For several days, the pages on "YouTube", "Instagram" and "Facebook" have been blocked.

Practically all connections with readers have been cut off from this portal.

Hundreds of articles on social networks about the corrupt affairs of Rilindja's government, the thefts of Erion Veliaj and Edi Rama have disappeared.

In connection with this scandal, "Safe Journalists Albania", the Association of Journalists of Albania and the Albanian Media Council have reacted, which calls the blocking of CNA's online pages an act of censorship.

Other organizations have been silent until now, especially those who work at Karlo in the evening and work as European journalists during the day.

As the Media Council points out, "Blocking of any media pages, either on the web or in social networks, can and should be done ONLY with a final decision of the Albanian courts.

Blocking access, without a court decision, except in cases provided by law, constitutes a clear violation of freedom of information and freedom of expression and violation of free speech./ CNA
