The Political Leader of the DP for Tirana District, Belind Kelliçi, has been in the USA for several days.

Kelliçi has revealed that the main purpose of this visit is to raise awareness among Albanians in the diaspora about the right to vote.

He announced that in the state of Michigan alone there are at least 150,000 Albanian-Americans who are working and voting for the first time.

The political leader for Tirana emphasized on Adi Krasta's show that their vote is vital.

"The DP's sister party in America is the Republican Party, which represents the right and it is normal for all the democrats of Albania to be supporters and supporters of the Republican Party in America and the candidacy of President Trump. The main reason for my visit is to raise awareness among Albanians in the diaspora about the right to vote, due to the fact that for the first time this extraordinary interest group, where only in the state of Michigan there are at least 150 thousand Albanian-Americans who work here. This large community will vote for the first time. He still finds the vote of the diaspora unbelievable.

Two days ago we had an activity within 24 hours at the request of the community here and I am glad and sorry because a large part of the FRPD is today in the USA of those who have had my journey in PD, a part of the former leaders of PD are located in the USA today.

This is a clear indication that most of the Albanian diaspora in the world is opposition. There are those Albanian citizens who have been hit by the system in Albania, they have been fired, they have had no hope, they have been in opposition with the government, they have been hit in business and a large part of them have come to the USA.

The vote of the diaspora for Albanians and DP is vital. It is these families that contribute the most to the Albanian economy, supporting their families economically and they have their say in decision-making in Albania", underlined Këlliçi./ CNA
