The Minister of Justice, Ulsi Manja, during the tributes for "January 21" said that the government of that time killed 4 innocent people. 

He emphasized that even though many years have passed, justice delays but never forgets. He demanded that the perpetrators of this event be brought to justice. 

"The government treacherously killed 4 innocent people. We have not stopped seeking justice. We as the opposition at that time promised ourselves a new and complete justice for January 21. Edi Rama's contract with the Albanians in 2013, for an independent justice, we promised and we did it. We did it with the help of our partners, but we support this new justice without reservations. Today after 13 years, the justice for January 21 is still up in the air, it shows that there are incompetent magistrates within the justice system. On 21 4 martyrs of the motherland fell on January 21. There are magistrates who want to put a lid on January 21. The justice system must face their incompetence. Full justice will be done for this state crime. The new magistrates must not they are waiting for Stasburg to tell them the things", said Manja. 

Today marks 13 years since the serious event, where four people were killed on the boulevard "Dëshmorët e Kombit" and many others were injured.

On January 21, 2011, Aleks Nika, Ziver Veizi, Hekuran Deda and Faik Myrtaj were killed during the opposition protest.

On January 21, the then opposition, now in government, protested in front of the Prime Minister's Office. The protest degraded into violence and clashes, while fire was opened from inside the Prime Minister's Office, bringing the tragic balance with four victims.

The rally took place after the publication of a video on the "Fiks Fare" show, where Ilir Meta, then deputy prime minister in the Berisha government, appeared with a black pad in his hand, making bargains with the late former minister, Dritan Prifti./ CNA
