May 11/ How to vote in the Assembly elections

The elections for the Albanian Parliament are being held today. To vote this Sunday, you must follow these steps:

Go to your polling station from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. You can find your polling station via the online service.

Make sure you have an identification document with you (ID card or biometric passport), which you present before the Voting Center Commission. 

The Voting Center Commission verifies your identity and then you place your left thumb on the electronic identification device.?? 

A member of the Voting Center Commission stamps the thumb of your left hand with a special ink. 

The Voting Center Commission will provide you with a ballot. 

Enter the secret room alone.? 

On the ballot paper, you will mark with an "x" or "+" in the empty square next to the political party, coalition, or candidate supported by voters that you want. 

Then fold the ballot so that the “x” or “+” marks are not visible and at least one of the stamps on the back of the ballot is visible.? 

Exit the secrecy room and drop the ballot into the ballot box.?? 

Your voting is now complete and you are leaving the polling station./CNA
