The head of the CEC, Ilirjan Celibashi, spoke in a television appearance about the diaspora voting process.

Celibashi said that regarding those registered immigrants who have not received their ballots, referring to information from DHL, every attempt has been made to contact them, but they have provided incorrect e-mail addresses or phone numbers.

Celibashi further stated that one of the characteristics of the diaspora voting process is transparency from the beginning of this process.

"15 thousand voters have so far not received their envelopes with their ballots. 11 thousand of them have problems with their addresses, something we expected from the beginning of the process. Most likely this category will not be able to receive their ballots. According to information from DHL, every attempt has been made to contact them, but they have provided incorrect e-mail addresses and phone numbers.

11 thousand -15 thousand people cannot receive the ballot. This has nothing to do with the integrity of the electoral process. For us, this is a negligible minimum number, based on the experiences of other countries where there have been cases where even half of the ballots have not been able to reach their destination.
