A few weeks ago in the USA, anyone who gets a little wind from politics witnessed an "extraordinary political renaissance"!

While the Democratic Party was torn apart, limping, faltering and facing a major defeat, it made a decision that made it stronger, more united and with clear coordinates of what direction it would take.

This happened, not only because it chose a new candidate for president in the next election, but also because the congressional Democrats reconnected with the electorate and the American society.

What about in Albania?

The government and the opposition in our country are facing each other in such a gap. Small and large internal wars, shadow deals in the dark, knives being readied and open clashes - consume almost all the energy of the political system, providing a show to the citizens, who are either disappointed or completely indifferent. .

In reality, the challenge for the government is not whether to go more left, more right, move more to the center, become more populist or more responsible. The challenge is different! If he will leave the shadow of scandals and deal seriously with the real problems that concern the citizens. If it will prove administrative skills of power.

Meanwhile, for the opposition parties, the challenge is even greater. The main challenge is to have political, civic and values ??responsibility; communication with the electorate in general and Albanian society in particular.

The opposition today is in the most miserable state in 34 years of transition. Not only unable to come to power; not only divided, but the conviction has been created in the Albanian society that the position and the opposition are together to preserve the establishment, that is to preserve the current political status quo.

Despite the fact that from September 2021 the opposition started reorganization, that is, re-establishment or rebirth (these two words are contextual synonyms), nothing of the kind happened. The same people, the same faces, the same deputies and officials who went from the lap of one president to the lap of another, simply for a safe place in the lists for deputies, trampling with both feet the principles and every democratic ideal.

And, since this was called politics, the impact on society and the electorate was negative: contempt and abandonment for this class of politicians, who are not good at filling their minds and offering solutions.

Contempt for the overthrow that has 1000 days that "it will happen today or never!", for the revolution that never ignited, but even when it decides to ignite, it ignites with permission for two hours from the police, for the revolutionaries who vote the same as the opponent and accuse those who vote differently to the opponent of treason.

Contempt for the secret agreements that gave Rama the fourth mandate and Berisha the monopoly of the opposition!

Contempt for the political theater in the Assembly and creating the perception among the people that the DP-SP agreement was never broken and that the "leader of the opposition", despite having been "imprisoned" for 240 days, is in fact free to give speeches at night, accuse and the more you raise your voice, the bigger the bargain! (These are popular perceptions, not mine!)

And the poor Albanian opposition goes around in a circle talking only to itself and trapped in a permanent cycle of introversion. And the opposition is led mathematically in a terrible contraction, which is expected to be proven in the next elections!

Autumn should bring and constitute a chance for a new restart.

The opposition must convince!

And you cannot convince the people or the electorate with a "truce" with the re-established, Euro-Atlantic and disaffected from the first two, nor with the emergence of a unified formation in front of this majority.

The people and the electorate are not convinced when they see the same faces nightly on TV, every Monday or Thursday in the Assembly, and every four years in the lists.

NO!

Albanians are tired of parties only for the presidents, the families of the presidents and the entourage of the presidents!
